Internacionalización y posicionamiento contemporáneo de la psicología española a través de las revistas españolas. El papel del Colegio de Psicólogos

Desde que, a inicios del siglo XXI, se introdujera en España una política ministerial orientada a mejorar la calidad y el alcance internacional de la producción científica, fomentando para ello la transformación de unas revistas científicas editadas y gestionadas de una manera amateur, por otra más profesional, que se ajustara a los criterios de las bases de datos internacionales, que muy pocas cumplían, mucho han cambiado las cosas en los proyectos editoriales españoles. En este contexto, una singularidad del mundo iberoamericano la define la estructura colegial española, que siempre ha mantenido una activa labor editorial en la publicación de revistas. Recientemente, el Consejo de la Psicología de España, y algunos Colegios, como el COP Madrid, iniciaron un plan de publicaciones que, con gran éxito, les ha llevado a ser los responsables editoriales de las cinco últimas revistas de Psicología incorporadas al JCR, elevando hasta 9 de las 17 revistas españolas de Psicología recogidas en JCR, el número de publicaciones periódicas en las que hay representación colegial. En este compendio de investigación se presentan los productos científicos de un estudio documental, desarrollado en la Universidad de Valencia, en colaboración con investigadoras del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas y de otras universidades (españolas y colombianas), en el cual se ha analizado, con indicadores objetivos, el posicionamiento e internacionalización de la psicología española, en términos de presencia en los Índices de Citas de Referencia (JCR especialmente, y SJR) de revistas, el papel del COP en el progresivo "asalto" de las revistas españolas a las mencionadas bases de datos, el efecto del Plan de Comunicación del Colegio de la Psicología de Madrid, que se iniciara en el año 2009, para cerrar nuestro proyecto de investigación, con el análisis de revistas concretas editadas, coeditadas o copatrocinadas por el Colegio de Madrid.Since the beginning of the XXI century, when a ministerial policy oriented towards the improvement of international intake and quality was introduced into the scientific production process which fostered the transformation of scientific journals managed and edited in an amateurish way into more professional publication, adjusted to the criteria of international databases with which very few of them complied, much has changed in Spanish editorial processes. In this context, a uniqueness of the Ibero-American world is defined by the Spanish collegial structure-COP, which has always maintained an active editorial work in the publication of journals. Recently, some associations, such as the Official Association of Psychology of Madrid, started a publication plan that, with great success, has led them to become responsible for the publication of the five last journals of psychology in the JCR. In this research compendium, we present the scientific products of a national, empirical desk study, carried out at the Universidad de Valencia, in cooperation with researchers from the Higher Council of Scientific Research and from other universities (Spanish and Colombian), in which we analyzed, with objective indicators, the internationalization and positioning of psychology in Spain (in terms of its presence in the reference Citation Indexes, JCR and SJR in particular). We also tackled the role of collegial structure in the progressive "conquering" of the aforementioned databases by Spanish journals, the effect of the Communication Plan by the Madrid College of Psychology (that was started in 2009). Presencia y representatividad de las psicólogas colegiadas en diferentes órganos de relevancia en la organización colegial española

The objective of the present study is to analyze the relation between the presence of women in the management structures of the Spanish Psychological Association (Spanish acronym, COP), and the level of feminization of this collective, through information gathered from different document sources such as webpages, acts, reports and scientific journals edited or co-edited by the Spanish Psychological Association. The results indicate a clear horizontal segregation in the field of Psychology for what concerns enrolled students, graduated students, and licensed professionals. Moreover, there is a vertical segregation favoring men in health colleges and in the direction of editorial committees of journals edited by the Spanish Psychological Association, even though it is worth mentioning the changes that have been taking place regarding inclusive language. It can be concluded that in a field so feminized, like Psychology in Spain, inequalities associated with gender can still be observed in some areas of the college structure.El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar la relación entre la presencia de mujeres en estructuras directivas de la organización colegial de Psicología y el nivel de feminización del colectivo a través de la información recogida en diferentes fuentes documentales como páginas web, actas, memorias, estatutos y revistas científicas editadas o co-editadas por el Colegio Oficial de la Psicología. Los resultados indican una clara segregación horizontal en el caso de la Psicología con respecto al estudiantado matriculado, egresado y colegiado. Además de una segregación vertical en favor de los hombres en los colegios de salud y en las direcciones y comités editoriales de las revistas editadas por los Colegios Oficiales de la Psicología, si bien cabe destacar los cambios efectuados en materia de lenguaje inclusivo. Se puede concluir que en un área tan feminizada como la Psicología en España se observan desigualdades asociadas al género en algunas áreas de la estructura colegial

Internacionalizació n y posicionamiento de las revistas españolas de psicología

Se presentan los resultados del aná lisis de la difusió n y circula- ció n del nú mero de revistas españ olas en diferentes bases de datos, nacio- nales e internacionales. Para ello se realiza un estudio de las revistas que contienen las principales bases de datos bibliográ ficas hasta el añ o 2017. El aumento de la presencia de revistas españ olas de psicologí a en las diferen- tes bases de datos es un indicador que determina el crecimiento y la madu- rez de esta disciplina y aporta una visió n interesante de la actividad cien- tí fica en psicologí a y su situació n en el contexto internacional. Se muestra que las polí ticas de estado y las campañ as de posicionamiento de universi- dades, asociaciones y colegios juegan un papel clave en la internacionaliza- ció n y posicionamiento.We present the results of the analysis of the dissemination and circulation of the number of Spanish journals in different national and in- ternational databases. This is a study of the journals that contain the main bibliographic databases until the year 2017. The increase of the presence of Spanish psychology journals in the different databases is an indicator that determines the growth and maturity of this discipline and provides an in- teresting view of the scientific activity in psychology and its situation in the international context. It shows that state policies and positioning cam- paigns of universities, associations and schools play a key role in the inter- nationalization and positioning

El papel del Colegio de Psicólogos en el posicionamiento internacional de la Psicología Española (1979-2018)

The presence and spread of Spanish psychology journals in different international databases (JCR and SJR) is an indicator that determines the maturity and growth of this field, apart from providing an interesting view of the scientific activity for what concerns psychology and its situation within the international context. The objective of the present work is to determine the role of the College of Psychologists as editor of psychology high-impact journals. 17 indexed journals were simultaneously selected in the JCR and SJR databases. The results show how 53% of them are edited or coedited by a College of Psychologists, with the particular relevance of the College of Psychologists from Madrid, having this a higher presence in other databases and a higher number of 1st quartile journals in JCR (SSCI); however, there are no differences in the number of first quartile registers in the time span that goes from 1997 until now. We could conclude that the state policies and the ranking campaigns of universities, associations and colleges play a key role in internationalization and ranking, since, in the case of Spain, the College of Psychologists is the main editor and promotor of a true policy focused on these objectives.La presencia de revistas españolas de psicología en diferentes bases de datos internacionales (JCR y SJR) es un indicador que determina el crecimiento y la madurez de esta disciplina y aporta una visión de la actividad científica en psicología y su situación en el contexto internacional. El objetivo del presente trabajo es determinar el papel del Colegio de Psicólogos como editor de revistas de psicología de impacto. Se seleccionaron 17 revistas indexadas simultáneamente en las bases JCR y SJR de 2018. Los resultados muestran como el 53% de éstas son editadas o coeditadas por un Colegio de Psicólogos, con especial relevancia del Colegio de Psicólogos de Madrid, teniendo una mayor presencia en otras bases de datos y un mayor número de revistas en los primeros cuartiles del JCR (SSCI), si bien no existen diferencias en el número de registros en los tres primeros cuartiles desde 1997 hasta la actualidad. Se puede concluir que las políticas de estado y las campañas de posicionamiento de universidades, asociaciones y colegios juegan un papel clave en la internacionalización y posicionamiento, y que en el caso español el Colegio de Psicólogos es el principal editor y promotor de una auténtica política orientada a estos fines

La presencia de revistas españolas de psicología en diferentes bases de datos internacionales (JCR y SJR) es un indicador que determina el crecimiento y la madurez de esta disciplina y aporta una visión de la actividad científica y su situación en el contexto internacional. El objetivo del presente trabajo es determinar el papel de la organización colegial-COP como editor de revistas de psicología de impacto. Se seleccionaron 17 re-vistas indexadas simultáneamente en las bases JCR y SJR de 2018. Los re-sultados muestran como el 53% de éstas son editadas o coeditadas por el COP, con especial relevancia del Colegio de Psicólogos de Madrid, tenien-do una mayor presencia en otras bases de datos y un mayor número de revistas en los primeros cuartiles del JCR (SSCI), dándose diferencias en el número de registros por cuartil entre revistas editadas o coeditadas por el COP y las que no. The results show how 53% of them are edited or coedited by the professional association of psychologists-COP, with salience of that of Madrid (COP Madrid), having both, a greater presence in other databases and a greater number of journals in the first JCR quartile, with differences in the number of records per quartile between those journals edited or coedited by the COP and those that are not. We could conclude that the state policies and the ranking campaigns of universities, associations and colleges play a key role in internationalization and ranking, since, in the case of Spain, the Association of Psychologists is the main editor and promotor of a true policy focused on these objectives

Análisis Bibliométrico de la Revista Anuario de Psicología Jurídica entre 1991-2019

El presente estudio realiza un análisis bibliométrico del Anuario de Psicología Jurídica entre 1991-2019. Los datos se recogieron en una base de datos que permite analizar autores, instituciones, países, género, temáticas e impacto. Los resultados señalan diferencia de género en el número de autores, con una mayor presencia de mujeres (50.2%), y el número de firmas (53.7% hombres). Con los años se observa un aumento del número de autores y de firmas, de trabajos en coautoría, una mayor presencia de firmas internacionales representando el 23.5% de las firmas entre 2011 y 2019. Se identifican tres grupos de colaboración, dos procedentes de España y uno de Colombia. Son las categorías de Psicología Jurídica y Forense y Evaluación Psicológica y Testimonio las más representadas en los trabajos publicados. Se puede concluir que el Anuario de Psicología Jurídica es un referente en su área principalmente para autores y profesionales de países latinoamericanos.The present study carries out a bibliometric analysis of Annual Review of Legal Psychology from 1991 to 2019. Data were collected from a database that allows for the analysis of authors, institutions, countries, gender, topics, and impact. The results enable us to observe gender discrepancies among authors, with a a higher frequency of women (50.2%), and the number of signatures (53.7% men). Over the years there is an increase in the number of authors and signatures, of co-authorship, a higher presence of international signatures, representing 23.5% between 2011 and 2019. Three collaboration groups were identified, two from Spain and one from Colombia. Categories of Legal and Forensic Psychology and Psychological Evaluation and Testimony are the most represented in the published studies. It is possible to conclude that Annual Review of Legal Psychology is a referent in its field, especially for authors and practitioners from Latin-American countries

Aggressive Driving, Rule-Breaking, and Driver Stress in Spanish-speaking countries

Driver Aggression is a phenomenon many have studied in all five continents. It has been the focus of curiosity for all sorts of disciplines, and science has been unable to curb it, much less park it. Driver Stress, Road Aggression and Road Rule-Breaking are crucial elements in traffic psychology. Those who do not respect the rules are a major factor in increased risk and the occurrence of major traffic accidents. Little work has been done on how these phenomena behave in Spanish-speaking countries, much less the development of useful instruments to evaluate them. This study aims to generate two unique scales that can be used in Spanish speaking countries regardless of culture or geography, as well as determining the influence Driver Stress has on Driver Aggression and Rule-Breaking. This study comprises a sample of 1827 drivers from Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Spain. Through this paper, a small yet significant relationship was found between Driver Stress, Driver Aggression, and Driver Rule-Breaking. This suggests that personality factors are at play in these relationships in Spanish-speaking countries, and that these variables are an important factor on how drivers behave. This study also delivers two useful tools for evaluating Driver Aggression (LatinCAT) and Driver Rule-Breaking (LatinDANT) that have excellent construct validity for further research in Spanish-speaking countries
